Trukai Industries has renewed its K100,000 sponsorship for Mountain Area Medical Airlift Foundation or MAMA Foundation this year.
This sponsorship will assist the Foundation to purchase medical equipment for the purpose of medical evacuation.
Trukai Industries Chief Executive Officer, Alan Preston said the company is happy to support MAMA Foundation progress their great work.
“Our renewed sponsorship towards MAMA Foundation is a great cause as we know our support will go a long way. We acknowledge the great work that Manolos Aviation and MAMA Foundation is doing and we are delighted to be part of their journey in helping save lives and provide healthcare services to remote areas in Papua New Guinea,” Preston said.
“This support is part of Trukai Industries’ corporate social responsibility under our TruCare banner which focuses on giving back to the communities in which we live, and operate in.”
MAMA Foundation Chief Executive Officer Jurgen Ruh, said the renewed sponsorship is timely and will be a huge support to the Foundation in terms of improving its helicopter emergency medical services across Papua New Guinea.
“The support from Trukai Industries will enable us to have yet another of our aircraft fitted with medical equipment, especially a stretcher and nurse medical configuration, which will help us in our bid to reach patients faster, and evacuate them safely, and with much care and comfort.”
